The last 25 years -
After high school, I embarked onto the Fashion World, modeling,
designing and attending the Fashion Institute of Design and
Merchandising. With new husband and baby boy, I decided
computers was a better career path and became a computer
operator and programmer. After several years of working in that
field, I decided that I really enjoyed assisting others and
embarked on a successful career in Human Resources. My husband,
Duane, son Anthony and I lived in San Jose/Los Gatos area
until 1992. After some sole searching, we decided to move to
Vallejo to be closer to our parents (who live in Sacramento) and
to get away from some of the congestion of living in San Jose
and commuting. Currently, I am the owner of Victorian Era, a
doll boutique in beautiful downtown Benicia. I love my business.
I create modern and antique porcelain dolls as well as custom
made dolls. I also teach students the lost art of Dollmaking.
It truly is a pleasure to do something that you enjoy. |
